The National Weather Service says expect “numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms” that will spread throughout the Gulf Coast through tonight.
“Heavy rainfall will impact much of the area, with storm total rainfall amounts between two to four inches and some locations potentially receiving six inches or more,” according to NWS Mobile.
Heavy rainfall can mean the risk of flash flooding, according to weather officials. A flash flood watch remains in effect through Monday morning.
