Former McGill-Toolen basketball standout TJ Lang has re-opened his recruitment after signing with Virginia Tech last November. Lang, who averaged more than 20 points his senior year as a Yellow Jacket, originally was set on sticking with his future as a Hokie – even after the school fired head coach James Johnson after two years.
Virginia Tech hired former Marquette head coach Buzz Williams, who commented on TJ’s decision to re-open the recruiting process:
“We wish nothing but the best for TJ in the future and look forward to watching him have a successful college career,” said Williams.
Virginia Tech released Lang of his National Letter of Intent. Lang had more than 20 offers last fall, including South Alabama.
