BAKER, La. (AP) — Authorities say that they have arrested a 16-year-old boy in a shooting that left three teens dead at a birthday party.
Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps said in a news release that the boy was booked into a juvenile detention center on three counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of illegal use of a firearm.
Knaps declined to release the name of the suspect because he is a minor.
Police say two teenage boys and a 15-year-old girl died after gunfire broke out at a birthday party at a privately owned club on Friday night.
