DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – Eight burglary cases from Mobile and Baldwin Counties were solved with the arrest of one person, and there could be more.
Daphne Police arrested Charles Kszyminski-Motto after executing a search warrant on the home where he was staying.
At the time, Daphne Police only had information linking Motto to one vehicle burglary but found a multitude of items once in the residence.
“Sell or trade for narcotics is what he was doing,” said Lt. Jud Beedy with Daphne police. “This is the stuff he couldn’t get rid of, the good stuff he stole he sold or traded for narcotics, it’s gone and we are not sure where it is at this point. This is the stuff we have left and trying to identify who owns it.”
Beedy said they are looking at other cases as well, and so are Mobile police, to see is the suspect is linked.
Beedy said the suspect was targeting vehicles in convenience and grocery store parking lots.
