Streets closing for movie making

A sci-fi action thriller is being filmed in Downtown Mobile with star Bruce Willis and it’s going to cause a change of plans for some of you who frequent the area.

Crews were already setting up shop at Jaguars club and Spot of Tea restaurant Wednesday afternoon to  film Vice.

“If you don’t know exactly where they are going to be filming, it’s not hard to figure out. You look for the lights, you look for the camera crews, just hangout a little while and see things develop,” said Carol Hunter with Downtown Mobile Alliance.

While the crew take over the streets, some say they’re taking over the hotels too.

“We changed our hotel reservations at The Battle House so we wouldn’t have to deal with it. They warned us there would be gunfire and bright lights,” one man said who came down from Birmingham to visit the port city.

There are several street closings for filming and construction over the next two weeks and keep in mind, the schedule could change.
