MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – FOX10 News continues to follow the case of Martell Malone. Malone is charged with three counts of sex abuse after Mobile Police say he attacked three women.
The most recent incident was in November 2012 when Fox10 News spoke exclusively to the victim about her attack. The victim says she was running near Grelot Road and Knollwood Drive when a man, also running, approached her for behind. The victim said she stopped to let him pass, and that when he ran up to her and aggressively groped her. The victim said the suspect then ran off.
Days later, Malone was arrested for the attack and also charged in two other cases.
FOX10 News has learned Malone was due back in court last week but did not appear. The judge in the case issued a warrant but the warrant has since been retracted after Malone’s attorney said they were given the wrong date. The status hearing has now been reset for next week.
