Airbus hiring for aircraft quality conformance managers

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Airbus, in conjunction with its hiring partner AIDT, has posted an open job position for two Aircraft Quality Conformance Managers for its assembly line in Mobile, Alabama.

Prior to the start of manufacturing, the successful candidates will receive classroom training and will be trained on the job in the Aircraft Quality Conformance department in Hamburg, Germany.

Once manufacturing begins, they will be responsible for process and product quality of the manufacturing process within the A320 Family assembly line at the U.S. facility. A minimum of nine months training abroad is required.

On July 2, 2012, Airbus announced it is building in Mobile an assembly line for its A320 Family of aircraft. The ground breaking for the assembly line was on April 8, 2013, and major construction is underway. Hiring for manufacturing jobs will continue throughout 2014.
