Severe weather hits Gulf Coast

GULF COAST (WALA) – Severe weather is moving through the FOX10 News viewing area Sunday morning. March 16.

The National Weather Service Mobile tweeted there are reports of trees down in Saraland.

The Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency Director Mitchell Sims said a funnel cloud was spotted earlier in the morning, but no damage has been reported.

Also, the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival has been canceled for Sunday.

In Atmore, the Burke’s Outlet Store’s roof collapsed, according to a viewer. The store was closed and no injuries were reported.

Rain totals in some areas have reached almost two inches.
