Wilmer Hall is a place in mobile where children can get away from poverty, abuse, neglect and homelessness. Sally Greene, Wilmer Halls Executive Director, tells Cherish Lombard that Wilmer hall is a nonprofit, so the children who live there depend on not only the staff and volunteers, they depend on us. We can help make sure children at Wilmer Hall continue to have a haven by being a part of “Wheels for Wilmer Hall” Saturday, March 22.
Ralph Anderson is with the Mob Town Riders and says Wheels for Wilmer Hall is similar to a poker run. He says all vehicles are welcome, and registration starts at 10:00am at Wilmer Hall Children’s Home. There will be free coffee and donuts, and the last vehicle will be out by 11:00am.
The entry fee is only $20 per hand, and it gives every rider the chance to win great prizes! You can register the day of the ride, or online at www.mobtownriders.com. All proceeds benefit the children at Wilmer Hall.
