Azalea Trail Run 2014

Thousands of runners will take over the streets of Downtown Mobile. One of the most popular runs on the Gulf Coast is coming up, and you still have time to sign up. It’s the 36th annual Azalea Trail Run.

It’s happening on March 22 at the Mobile Civic Center at 7:30am. It’s one of the longest running 10K races in the country. Professionals from all over the world participate, as well as everyday people who want to enjoy the day. There’s a 10K, 5K, and a 2K run. Organizers are expecting another great turnout.

There will be a health and fitness expo on Friday and Saturday (March 21, 22). Food and catering will be provided at the after-party following the run.

Keep in mind, it’s not just for the runners. People are encouraged to bring friends and family to enjoy a nice long walk too. To register, go to eventbrite.com or pcpacers.org and search “azalea trail run’. You can also pick up a registration form at Mccoy Outdoor, and Run-N-Tri in Mobile, or Running Wild in Fairhope.
