On Saturday the weather couldn’t have been better for the people who attended the 22nd annual Orange Beach Seafood & Car Festival.
The event was held at the Orange Beach Sportsplex off Canal Road. Shuttles from The Wharf brought visitors to and from the festival free of charge.
Organizers said more than one hundred cars were on display for auto enthusiasts. In addition, there were face-painting and games for children, along with music and, of course, seafood from the Gulf.
Artists’ booths displayed jewelry, sculpture, pottery and other art forms for people to admire and purchase.
Money raised from the event helps Orange Beach with all of its sports activities, mainly softball and baseball.
Orange Beach and Gulf Shores have become a popular place for national sports tournaments for baseball, volleyball and soccer.
Saturday’s event was hosted by the Orange Beach Sports Association.
