The teenager who was shot after an alleged domestic dispute with his brother and grandparents has been released from the hospital and booked in Mobile Metro Jail.
Mason Jordan had been in critical condition after he was shot by a neighbor, according to officials.
Mobile County sheriff’s deputies said a family member ran to the neighbor for help after Jordan became violent. The neighbor said Jordan had threatened to kill everyone in the house.
The neighbor said a warning shot was fired but when that didn’t work, Jordan was shot.
Officials said the neighbor is not facing charges. Jordan, however, is facing one count of third degree domestic violence (assault), two counts of third degree domestic violence (harassment), third degree criminal mischief and harassment or harassing communications.
