BLACK HISTORY: A look at Mobile

Fred Richardson & Noble Beasley

Noble Beasley says he was the victim of snitches.

Fred Richardson says John Leflore and his Non-Partisan Voters’ League worked behind closed doors with establishment politicians before issuing his “pink sheet” or “pink list”, which influenced the African-American vote in Mobile.

Beasley and Richardson sat down for an extended interview with FOX10 News anchor Bob Grip to talk about the history of the Voters’ League and its rival, the Neighborhood Organized Workers (NOW) and why Noble Beasley believes he was eventually sent to prison.
