WALA FOX10 and WFNA CW55 announced the expansion of its top-rated morning newscast. Beginning Monday, January 27, the FOX10 News morning show will broadcast live from 4:30am until 9:00am.

“Local content is so important to Gulf Coast viewers,” said Gary Yoder, President and General Manager of WALA FOX10 and WFNA CW55. “We are so excited to be able to respond to our viewers and customers with even more news programming focused on this region. As a news organization, we are in a unique position to expand our local morning presence and create new and better ways to serve our local news consumers.”

The new morning lineup will begin at 4:30am with FOX10 News and continue until 9:00am.  Lifestyle and entertainment program, Studio 10, will take over the 9:00am hour replacing Bethenny which moves to sister station CW55.

“Viewers will still enjoy the same locally focused news and weather they have come to trust from FOX10 News,” said Randy Merrow, FOX10 News Assistant News Director. “Our morning goal remains the same – give our local viewers the news, weather and information they need to prepare their families for the day ahead. What’s new, what’s now and what’s next.”

The morning newscast will continue to be anchored by the popular duo Sarah Wall and Eric Reynolds with weather updates from meteorologist Michael White.
