The 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl will feature four players from Auburn’s team. The Tigers will be represented by Mobile-native Jay Prosch (FB), Dee Ford (DE), Chris Davis (CB) and Chris Parkey (K).
This season, the Auburn seniors helped lead the Tigers to the biggest turn-around in college football, from 3-9 a year ago, to the second-best team in the nation this season.
Dee Ford finished this year with the most sacks (8.5) for the Auburn squad. In the beginning of the season, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said that Prosch was the best he’s ever coached in his position – Prosch was a blocking fullback for the Tigers. Chris Davis will forever be remembered for his 109 yard return after a missed field goal try with no time remaining against Alabama, which upset the top-ranked Tide and sent Auburn to the SEC Championship game.
The Senior Bowl kicks off at Ladd Stadium at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 25.
