UPDATE: FOX10 News Fugitive Files suspect Ashley Jacobs surrendered on Saturday, January 18, 2014, three days after appearing on FOX10 News.  She is the 591st suspect to be arrested after appearing on FOX10 News Fugitive Files and the 312th to surrender.

It didn’t take long for last week’s FOX10 News Fugitive Files suspect to call police to tell officers where to find him.  See if you recognize one of our latest suspects, accused of stealing from a 56 year old man in a wheelchair.

Mobile Police were originally looking for both Curtis Ridge and Ashley Jacobs, who face robbery charges for an attack on a disabled victim at a local motel last month.  But just minutes before we were ready to record our interview for this story,  police arrested Curtis Ridge.  Police spokesman, Officer Terence Perkins says officers are still looking for Ashley Jacobs.

“The suspect, along with her co-defendant who was recently arrested as we were getting ready to air this story, shoved the disabled victim out of his wheelchair.  Once he was actually on the ground, they went through his pockets removing cash and his wallet,” said Perkins.

With Ridge in custody, we are now looking for Jacobs, who is 27 years old, 5 foot 1 and weighs 140 pounds.

If you know where to find her, call the FOX10 News Fugitive Files/Crimestoppers Hotline at 251-208-7000.

Police tell me both suspects face a number of drug charges.
